Weekend tour - ""Ala Archa" Gorge and Bishkek city tour"
The tour is a perfect way to see the beautiful Tian Shan mountains and know more about capital of Kyrgyzstan in one day. You will be able to hike up the Ala Archa gorge and see the magnificent gorges and glaciers as well as alpine meadows and Tian Shan furs.
After the short hiking in the groge we will drive back to Bishkek to visit the main sights of the city.
Itinerary:
9:00 - 10:00 Transfer to Ala Archa Natural park (40 km from Bishkek). On the way we make several stops near a cemetery for taking pictures and to visit the grave of a national Kyrgyz hero – Baitik Baatyr, his mausoleum.
10:00 - 13:00 Ala Archa Natural Park is a popular place for hiking, skiing and mountaineering including trips to more than 20 glaciers. It covers the area of 200 km2 - mostly forested valleys, waterfalls and rivers rich in trout. The altitude of ranges varies from 1500m to the highest point 4895m (Peak Semenov Tien Shanskii). Several rare species of fauna and especially traditionally revered juniper trees are under protection in the NaturalPark.
It has very diverse fauna: mountain meadows are the habitat for wild goats, deer and marmots. Ala Archa National Park is one of the few places of the habitat of the rare snow leopard. You will have some time to walk in the gorge and make some photos.

Bishkek – is the capital and industrial centre of Kyrgyzstan, Bishkek is a city of wide avenues, handsome buildings and Soviet heritage. The gesturing statue of Lenin can still be seen in the city’s vast central square, yet it is the permanently snow capped Kyrgyz Ala-Tau mountain range which towers over Bishkek providing a quite stunning backdrop.
14:00 - 14:40 Trabsfer back to Bishkek
14:40 - 18:00 Sightseeing tour in Bishkek.

We visit Manas Monument, the main national hero of the Kyrgyz people. Then excursion to the State History Museum and transfer to the main Ala Too Square to watch ceremony of changing of the Guard of Honor, main governmental buildings, and finish at the Old Square with Parliament House.
18:00 - 19:00 Dinner with folklore show. You will have the chance to listen to the famous Kyrgyz music and songs.
19:00 Transfer back to a hotel.
